Cola Doubles Risk of Kidney Disease

Regards cola specifically as compared to other pops. (Yes, pop. Not soda. If you're gonna call soda pop by a nickname pick the shorter name. Tee, hee, hee.) What I found startling was the claim that also has the ability to pull calcium from the bones. Does this mean no more Dr Pepper? (gasp!)

because we have a history of brittle bones in my family I take calcium in large dosages since I cannot eat dairy products except for cheese...Milk makes my tummy into a leaky balloon.
But its true about the soda. I was told years ago to stop drinking it or at least cut back.
